Campsite rules 1. All guests must register at Reception and receive a car pass before entering campsite grounds. Campsite quiet time is from 10.30 p.m. to 7.30 a.m. Car engines or doors slamming, headlights, flashlights, walking around, talking, loud singing, etc., are all things that might disturb others. Please be courteous to your fellow campers. 5. Barbecues are permitted under the guests’ responsibility. No campfires are permitted. There is nothing like a fire that gets out of control and destroys property. 6. Pets are accepted, but must be kept on a lead at all times and never left unattended at your pitch/in your chalet. You must clean up after them at all times on the campground property. 7. We recycle rubbish. Please use the colour-coded rubbish bins provided. 8. Cars cannot be parked in the tent pitches. This is to ensure that when you come back next year you’ll find pitch grass as beautiful and green as this year. 9. GENERAL RESERVATION CONDITIONS ▼
The availabilities for July, August and December are changing all the time. If we have availability, you will receive a booking confirmation quickly by mail, and you will have to pay your deposit within 24 hrs and send us (by fax or e-mail) the document confirming that payment of the deposit has taken place. Failure to do so will automatically invalidate your reservation.
Check-in: after 02.00 p.m. until 06.30 p.m.
Check-out: before 10.00 a.m.
Payment: 25% deposit of the total rent (25 € reservation fee included) by money order or credit card (number and expiry date). Booking can only be confirmed after the deposit has been received.
You will be sent a final written confirmation when your deposit is received.
The chalet is booked for the specified dates only; any date changes may be made at the following conditions:
- changes are made up to 2 weeks before the arrival date;
- a chalet is available for the new dates you require;
- in high-season periods bookings can only be taken from Sunday to Sunday.
In the case of cancellation within 2 weeks before the date of arrival the deposit will be refunded, minus the reservation fee. There will be no refund in the case of late cancellation or no-show (if the client has not arrived within 6.30 p.m. on the planned date - check-in is allowed later, provided prior notice is given and subject to payment of the extra charge described below).
The remaining balance is payable on your arrival (this payment cannot be made by cheque; payment must be by credit card or cash). This will not be reimbursed if the departure is earlier than planned, unless the management agrees to this. Any extra services non booked in advance are payable at the end of your stay.
During Christmas holidays and in the months of July and August bookings can only be taken from Sunday to Sunday.
Late arrivals are possible until up to 12.00 p.m., in which case you must inform Reception by telephone before 06.00 p.m. (no charge until 9 p.m.; after 9 p.m. an extra charge of € 50.00 will be due).
On arrival, go to Reception in order to carry out the general formalities.
No visitors may access the site without registration and authorization at Reception. Your daily visitors will have to pay campsite fees. Visitors wishing to stay overnight will be accepted only if the maximum party size (6 people) is not exceeded and will have to pay the rate/night mentioned on the website. If no rate/night is available (i.e. during high season), this rate will have to be agreed with the management.
On your arrival, the inventory and inspection of the property will be carried out by you and a member of the staff and you will be required to sign a document declaring that the inventory is complete and the property is in good condition. The equipment and general condition of the chalet will be checked on departure day. If there is any damage or any missing items, the client will have to pay the amount required for the repair/replacement. Final cleaning is included in the price. Bedlinen and towels are changed on a weekly basis.
Daily cleaning and additional bedlinen and towels are charged as extras, as per chalet rates.
Everyone must comply with the internal campsite rules.
Chalets will be allocated without any distinction in the order of receipt of reservations. The management reserves the right to change the allocated chalet on arrival.
Should the hirer wish to change his/her allocated chalet on arrival, his/her request will be considered according to availability.
Access to the campsite by car is prohibited between 10.30 p.m. and 07.30 a.m. During these hours access will only be authorized on foot.
Separate containers are provided for different types of rubbish, which is collected regularly. Guests are therefore asked to use the colour coded bins provided for different types of rubbish.
There is a no smoking rule in the chalets.
MARGHERITA CAMPSITE AND RESORT – SERVICES FOR THE DISABLED
THIS CAMPSITE REALLY IS FOR EVERYONE: NO MORE LIMITS
Since the summer of 2005 Margherita has become accessible to all. For our differently-abled guests there are now three dedicated car parks, a lift to the services situated on the first floor (Reception and meeting room) and 2 equipped rest rooms (one complete with shower). The camp sites are also all on level ground and are easily accessible.
We also thought about our differently-abled customers when we enlarged the facilities. Two of the newly constructed chalets are completely accessible and are provided with equipped bathrooms and ante-bathrooms. The same goes for the bathroom at the Wellness Centre and new Bar, which can be accessed by ramp.
The campsite provides its guests with a shuttle service to and from the ski lifts in the Monterosa ski area.
